Literature Textbook: I did unit 4 and it took me a little bit longer to finish because I decided to make my annotions a little bit longer so I had some more notes to look back on. I noticed that a lot of the hard times and great times in history are the times most writers emerged because they wanted to describe how life was going and the different things going on. An example was the transcontinental railroad that was built that cause many settlers to travel, the industry to boom, and writing influences to expand. Also the developments of regionalism and naturalism. Mark Tawin seemed very important in this time of history of writing. He wrote the book "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" which was the first book to be written in "American";he faced a lot of critism.
